Adding Roku Devices to RobusTest

Roku devices connect to RobusTest over the network using their IP address. The device must be on the same network as the RobusTest server.

Prerequisites

Enable Developer Mode on your Roku device by following the official Roku developer setup guide: https://developer.roku.com/en-gb/docs/developer-program/getting-started/developer-setup.md

Adding the Device

Once Developer Mode is enabled:

  1. In the RobusTest Admin Console, go to Devices.
  2. Click the + icon at the top of the page.
  3. In the pop-up, select Roku as the device type.
  4. Enter the Roku device's IP address and click Add Device.

The Roku device will appear in your device list once it has been successfully detected.

Device added! Your Roku device is now ready for testing in RobusTest.

Note: If the device fails to add, verify that the Roku device is powered on, connected to the same network as the RobusTest server, and that Developer Mode is active on the device.
